Make minimap follow same design pattern as main map & have a "select a node" text when nothing selected

Do we think that the minimap is part of the minimum viable product?

I don't find myself using it at all. Does anyone else have further thoughts?

It doesn't really seem like a useful feature to me. I agree that it's not part of the MVP.

+1 Ideally we would make the main graph sufficiently clear that it would replace the (original) need for the minimap
