Weired behavior of Solis Inverter
Hi together, thanks first for this great plugin to be able to connect my Solis inverter RHI-(3-4.6)K-48ES by Solis Modbus TCP stick . It was a big step forwards for me to have the data of the inverter just with a small delay of 15 seconds! But since I'm using this plugin to pull the data, I have the impression, the inverter is doing weired things like
- stop generating power after battery reach 100%
- drain battery down to <10% but limit is set to e.g. 40%
- charge battery from grid if < SOC but > BatteryMinSOC
I'm using these settings:
The battery drain problem I've already posted in this ticket #683 (Originally posted by @luftdieb in https://github.com/wills106/homeassistant-solax-modbus/discussions/683)
Regarding "stop generating power after battery reach 100%" it's maybe a understanding problem. What means "selfuse - no grid charging" ? Is this setting responsible because "no grid charging" means, above 100% energy would NOT be charged to grid ? Sorry this would be missleading for me because I've thought battery should never be charged from grid and I can reach this behavior by using this setting. Maybe better term would be "Selfuse - no power charged to grid"
Is there a chance to use this plugin in ReadOnly Mode without using the Modbus writing register ? That would be great to avoid this kind of problem.
Another small issue is, changing BackupMode SOC will not be overtaken. Slider stay at the new selected value for about 5 seconds and than it jumps back to original position. This behavior is new since ~3-4 weeks
I think i read that the 100%Soc Problem is a Inverter Firmware Problem. Since i use the esp32 jkbms to solis CAN Converter the problem disappeared (emulating pylontech batteries)
