Thank You!!!!
can't find a better way to thank you for this!
And down with RedHat for not providing anything better than the fat ass ghcr.io/ansible/community-ansible-dev-tools to simply run the latest ansible cli in a container.
It wasn't that easy to find you though, I'm not sure how you could rank higher in web search results ~
Sorry, I meant to thank you. This has become somewhat a labour of love as I rarely use it in my day-to-day life, but it does give me a chance to look at some things.
I know what you mean about the RedHat version. I am really pleased with what they do (and generally how Ansible community is run) but finding specific versions (or updated versions) especially as I often imagine this tool in use within a secure CI toolchain. But we can't solve every problem.
In terms of search rankings, I am not too bothered. I guess I could market it, but seeing as it is never likely to be anything than a fun little project that I would think makes it slightly easier to run Ansible then I don't want to spend lots of time doing that.
Thanks again. Maybe I'll leave the issue open as inspiration for the future 🥰
Let's keep it open, who knows how it can help :)
