.jshintignore issue

Hi, I've run into a snag now that my src file is just one main.js input; even with .jshintignore set to avoid the specific src files, it still checks each as the reference to them doesn't appear to be passed through the pipe. Wanted to see if you had any tips around this or if I'm thinking of this incorrectly. Thanks!
