Accept screen says "reloaded automatically", but does not reload page

Open NovemLinguae opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

Steps to reproduce

  • Accept a draft

What happens?

  • Accept dialog finishes its tasks, then has a button that says "Done (reloaded automatically)" that implies that the page should be reloaded, but the page does not reload automatically
  • "Continue to next random submission" line is towards the top of the box.

What should have happened instead?

  • Option 1
    • we make the page reload
  • Option 2
    • We decide not to reload the page, but we make that wording less ambiguous
    • We might also want to move "Continue to next random submission" down to the bottom (between "Saved Wikipedia:Articles for creation/recent" and the "Done" button). That seems to be a more intuitive place for it.

I vaguely recall back in something like 2016 this feature actually worked, in that it reloaded the page. No idea why it stopped. Personally, I think it is good to have the "saved" messages stay on the page so that you know they're completed (since if they're not, it gives a note to that effect). Reloading the page automatically might mean you miss something, so changing the wording to "(reload the page)" would be better.

Regarding the "next sub", I would actually argue that it should be before everything else, since it's not a "status" message.
