Usage questions

I'm sorry for the ignorance, but I don't understand how I will use it. I removed the Ubuntu subsystem I had, unzipped it, ran Clear.exe, it created the folders, but as a matter of fact, I use the system on the terminal? There is no documentation with examples.

I don't understand your problem You don't understand how to use clear linux or what? That's just yet another distro and i'm sure you can find anything you need in official docs

Try open cmd.exe and run wsl -d clear

Sorry for necroing, but I guess this issue is still open.

Well, I think the brazilian OP said the Clear installation outcome is a bit odd: better, Clear shows a tad different behaviour than "official" WSL distros (official = in the Store, like Ubuntu LTS).

I mean, apparently after installation there's no App link created in Start menu, it's not requested any linux user creation at first login, the bash / wsl -d clear invocation does not show the linux home, but still the windows path (\mnt...).

I don't know if that happens to everyone, but it's what happened to me, and IMVHO that's dazing / confusing for lots of new users.

Well, sorry for my poor english too, I hope my comment can help, somehow.

Cheers, Marco (Italy)
