Checking for updates from Help menu fails

MacOS Version: 10.13.6 High Sierra SeaLion Version: 32.5.1 (64-bit)

When checking for updates (Help > Check for Updates…), the follow error appears:

“Update XML file malformed (200)”

Thanks. That is the correct “error” for now. I don't have my own infrastructure / hosting set up which would be needed for automatic updates. I have not found a way to make it work through github, or if it’s even allowed. In the meantime, the download link shown will always take you to the releases page so you can check for updates manually. It’s not ideal, but it’s all i can do at the moment.
