Folders with # and _ misbehaving

User reported that folders that start with # and _ seem to scan fine, but the thumbnails do not show up.

Replicate to confirm if this happens, maybe check folders that start with . too 🤷‍♂️

Instead of opening a new issue since it seems to be related: directories with a . omit the character when being displayed as a tag, but seem to store it internally.

So, for example, if you have a directory called foo.bar, the tag displayed will look like foobar, but searching for foobar will return nothing. Searching for foo.bar will return the expected result. So the only issue is with the display.

Thank you for the bug report! I've never had a . in my folder name 😅 so I never came across this -- will replicate and fix 👍
