Installation warning from Microsoft Defender

I searched through the issues and haven't found anything about it, am I the only one getting this warning when I run the demo installer?

And just to clarify, I'm talking about versions 2.2.2 and 2.2.3: Video Hub App 2 Setup 2.2.2-demo.exe

Thank you for opening the issue.

This is a standard warning from Windows about an "unrecognized app" 🤷‍♂️

👌 On Windows 10 there's a question about whether you want to run the app. In your screenshot it seems like you don't have an easy "run anyway" button to click (is this Windows 8?). Perhaps if you click "More info" you'll be able to proceed.

I think the only way I can avoid this with my app is to pay Microsoft something like $100/year (if not more) to register the app with them 🤔

If someone knows better about this, please let me know 🤝

Hello, and thank you for a great app! 😄 👍 Indeed, I can get over it by clicking on the "More info" link, but I think this might deter a lot of non-technical users from using it, which is a pity. Maybe you can create a different type of installer? I am sure lots of developers out there don't need to pay that amount of money to Microsoft to get their apps installed.

Oh, and yes, this is Windows 10.

I'll keep the issue open with a help wanted tag -- in case someone who knows a bit more could comment / contribute 👍

My understanding is I need a Code Signing Certificate and there are no free solutions, even if the project is open source 👎
