aft-mtp-cli shows deleted files

  • Delete files from phone (from file manager, VLC, whatever)
  • Connect phone to PC, run aft-mtp-cli -> ls
  • See big list of files most of which were deleted

Looks like it's a known problem. Can you implement some sort of a "sync" command in aft-mtp-cli to start getting real list of files? Or some other way to deal with this problem?

can you help me a little bit please?

  • it could be that it takes some time to update info inside MTP database. what happens if you wait for a while and issue ls command again?
  • android mtp launch process per each session AFAIK, does disconnecting cable help?

Hi, Waiting or reconnecting cable doesn't help, I still see ancient files that were deleted long time ago in aft-mtp-cli session.
