Spotify crashes right after it downloads lyrics
Only on some songs app crashes right after it downloads lyrics. You can see the lyrics only for a split second and then it crashes. Crashes only when using LRCLIB or Musixmatch, Genius works fine. Sample song: Kendrick Lamar, Not Like Us Sideloaded on iPhone 12, iOS 16.0 using TrollStore 2.0.15 EeveeSpotify version Swift 3.0
this song doesn’t lead to crash for me install debug IPA and send the crashlog
thanks for sharing, but it’s a weird crash log. I can’t figure out the reason why it crashes, and I don’t even see that EeveeSpotify was loaded. Is that right/latest crash log?
yes it is for sure the right crash log. I’m also not sure why it happens. Sometimes it is not crashing on this song and sometimes it crashes on others. Here is other crash log, maybe it will be more helpful Spotify-2024-05-16-134906.txt
@whoeevee I just used BrowserStack to emulate iPhone in cloud and it crashed also there. Here is crash log: Spotify-2024-05-16-223556.txt
Unfortunately, I cannot figure out the reason for the crash or reproduce the issue. It works fine for me and many others. In your case, there is a method during the call to the crash occurs. If you can see the lyrics for a split second, it means they have successfully loaded, and the tweak worked fine. Maybe you should install Dopamine jailbreak with the EeveeSpotify tweak and Spotify from the App Store?

iPhone XR iOS 17.5 & iPad 9th gen iOS 17.5. Interestingly, yesterday I switched to Genius (I don't like it because it's not synchronized) and then to Musixmatch (I don't like it because it's limited) and then I went back to LRCLIB and today I heard without crashes for a long time in the car. I would like to thank you for the development of this ipa. Greetings
i have a screen recorded video of the crashing. basically when booting up spotify after fully closing it and speedrunning to the lyrics while playing the song it'll crash. if you give it a second it wont crash because it'll have loaded it up before you got there. maybe that's why you cant reproduce the issue. i only found this to happen on one song so far but i also tested like 3.. idk, its weird. this is all a nitpick though because you have to go out of your way to cause a crash. iPhone 14 iOS 17.5.1

i actually just tried this again on the same exact song and app version didnt touch a thing and its not happening. the only difference i can think of is that last time it came on thru autoplay or smart shuffle or whatever and now i went and found it through listening history. im sorry this is such a random and fickle bug. at least i got it on camera that im not crazy. 4.0 is chill too no problems. if it happens again ill come back but it looks like its good
