ctrl+b when emacs-mcx.inMarkMode doesn't work?

For the sake of Emacs compatibility, I wonder whether it's my misconfiguration or this extension is incomplete for this case:

  1. Ctrl + space => setMarkCommand (works)
  2. Ctrl + f => Select text under cursor (works)
  3. Ctrl + b => This doesn't select text under cursor. Should this work out of the box?
