Footer section with partners
It would be nice to have an editable placeholder on the cover page that can be filled (by the admin) with logos and names of supporting / part taking NGOs (somewhere around the yellow frame).
Nice idea, like it! Normally one would shove stuff like this into the footer (makes total sense im my opinion). Especially in your screenshot, on the mobile view, these non-primary action items would unnecessarily clutter the already small area of screen space.
See for instance the RGSoC page for how partners can be placed prominent in the footer.
Using a tiny "CMS" for:
can be filled (by the admin)
is total overhead for UI things like this in my opinion. Even if the partners and their logos change on a weekly basis, it would still be easier and more straight forward to input this stuff directly in HTML or YAML and then just deploy a new version of the app.
So wen can "install" the footer and changes will then be updates through you guys if needed (or me, if you let me know where ;-) )?
Could you please go ahead and provide more information about the footer @votexx ? Maybe give an example for the partners, or would be best a mockup of how it should lock, what it should provide in terms of information.
I forwarded the example of rgsoc and am waiting for a response. I´ll get back to you as soon as possible...
The rgsoc-footer it is - logos and names will be available after the ngos are registered.
Ok, cool! While we're at it, can you collect all the other information which needs to go into the footer? I'm sure there's more.
Moving this off the Public Launch milestone, since it's not a key feature for the launch...
