Is there a proposal for the date range for input?
Hi there. Is there a proposal for the date range for input? I tried to find something about it on GitHub but could not.
While very common on different websites, I couldn't find a proposal for standardizing a date range input here.
Some analysis around different UI controls is currently happening at the Open UI project, which also lists some examples for date range inputs.
There are many different use cases for date and time ranges, like booking websites, scheduling apps, etc., which could benefit from a standard solution for ranges.
Important to note here is that not only date ranges should be covered but also time ranges and maybe even combinations of both.

I was actioned by W3C I18N in our telecon of 2020-10-01 with noting our interest in this topic.
The requirements for date and time range inputs would be very interesting, including guidance on how the lang attribute (locale) and time zone interact with the user experience.
