Ok I've added this to [bountysource](https://www.bountysource.com/issues/33132094-expected-behavior-happening-in-reverse) since I don't have access to an osx machine for further testing.
So, for file dialogs thinking either some small wrapper (like tinyfiledialog), but then we still need alerts and such.. so perhaps better to use some library like wxwidgets or qt...
