Workout Active

hello, what does it mean if a workout is "active"? if one week I finished a workout and I don't want it to be active anymore, because I have to start the new week with a new workout, how do I make the new workout become "active"? Thank you

the workout becomes active if it is used in a workout schedule or if there are no schedules, just the last one. However this isn't really clear at all and will be reworked once we finally get to start working on #848
