can not use foldseek

hi, I want to use foldseek, but I have put the binary file of foldseek into the bin file, I still can not to use it. But when I directly download it from the foldseek official website, it works.

I do not know why, may be you need to update the file of foldseek or I forgot add foldseek path to system value?

Hello, can you check whether you have the executable permission for the binary file? If not, you can add the executable permission
by:

chmod +x foldseek
