Can't open color picker when sublime active tab displays an image on linux

ST3 can open images (jpeg, pn, gif, etc..)

But I cannot open the color picker when the active tab in an image, nor can I switch to a tab displaying an image. When I open the color picker then try to switch to a tab displaying an image, ST froze, but unfroze when closing the color picker modal. Unfortunatly there is no error in the console...

My OS is Ubuntu 14.4 LTS 64bit
