[Pipewire Arch] Input Isn't Created

Open QueenOfDancingStars opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

I tried following the exact set-up, tried using both the git and pacman versions, but nothing seems to work. I also tried restarting pipewire several times but nothing seems to change, including rebooting my entire PC several times. I'll attach screenshots of everything below and hopefully there is an error somewhere. I was using noisetorch before so maybe that caused something? image image image image image

I experienced the same issue on a fresh install (gnome on archlinux). After installing pipewire-alsa to try another setup, and getting back to pipewire-pulse, it worked as expected.

These instructions worked for me getting it installed via the AUR package - https://medium.com/@gamunu/linux-noise-cancellation-b9f997f6764d

You have a typo in your ~/.config/pipwire directory. Should be pipewire not pipwire.
