discord/ download location

Saving a picture in discord freezes the browser. Picking a download location, doesn't show any directories. Inputed manual c:\download. It does not save the download location I inputted.

The download folder change has already been fixed, re-download it.

I upgraded to chromium 115 for xp 20231116. running Windows XP.

Downloads appear to work.

I noticed that this directory doesnt get created in TEMP. c:\Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\temp\

Also closing the browser does not delete the directory.

Have you tried creating C:\Windows\SystemTemp? Since Chrome 109.0.5403.0, if a user is running as administrator, it dumps temporary directories in C:\Program Files. Since Chrome 114.0.5697.0, it dumps temporary directories in C:\Windows\SystemTemp if it can get into it, or continue to dump it in C:\Program Files. Since the directory does not exist on XP almost certainly it dumps it there. xpchrome always says "yes" to administrator.

No I do not have c:\windows\system\temp or c:\windows\systemtemp.
