I really like the mission of Weld and would love to contribute! How would you suggest I get started? Is there a Slack (or similar) workspace to chat?

Awesome! We just started a chat forum here: https://spectrum.chat/weld, where we can discuss some ideas. There's a ton of stuff to do depending on what your interests are, ranging from new compiler optimizations in Rust, to making the Python API nicer, to adding/improving some of the tools that can be used to understand and debug Weld programs.

I'll also begin adding some starter projects as GitHub issues and labeling them as such as well.
