Enhancement: Option to use this as a user-enabled control

It would be amazing to be able to either slide the control or two tap on one of the two side 'buttons' (I know they are not currently buttons) to be able to make this a user-enabled control that will not only display data, but will allow for the setting of data. Nice control!
