NEON Tree Dataset
The woody vegetation structure data from NEON. confirming with @MarconiS
The date of release is key, since data collection is ongoing.
https://github.com/weecology/DeepTreeAttention/blob/master/data/raw/neon_vst_data_2021.csv
The components and column definitions from this dataset are described here:
https://data.neonscience.org/data-products/DP1.10098.001
While it is possible to download these data directly from NEON, @MarconiS has done good work collating, cleaning and bringing these data into a single file. Definitely worth it.

@MarconiS - is this the sort of work that could be moved into the retriever and maintained usefully there?
It definitively should be possible. Mostly, what the neon wrangler does is interfacing with the NEON API, calculating the geolocation, and cleaning the info into a single csv file. Same with the traits data. @henrykironde we can work on it together in our in house "hackaton" next Monday?
Also, the wrangler can be used to clip AOP data at the individual/subplot/plot level. That's probably a little more complicated to include in the retriever I believe (yet, it may be a way to include reflectance/rgb data in a csv file for a custom set of targeted pixels?)
And it may well make more sense to just keep this separate if the wrangler is going to become a thing, the description just sounded like something retrievery for this part.
