I had to include instructions on https://torrent.partidopirata.org because the intended public need very specific directions.

I've put up an instance of BTorrent on https://btorrent.partidopirata.org and people just started adding magnet links from regular torrent sites.

So I'd assume zero knowledge of web torrent from every visitor.
