Text areas uneditable

Hello, whenever i use the text tool, i can only type in or change the text color, if i try to change any other property like font size or font family or such the text area will close and become uneditable. I have also tried this in the example from the repository and have gotten the same results. This was not an issue in the earlier versions by the way. Thank you.

Any news about it? It would be great to have this functionality for text boxes.
