I don't see related changes that stand out for me in v5.5.0, so I'd need more details. Or even better, a reproduction.

This is a totally valid bug report, but currently a non-trivial thing to handle in Knip. Even if we'd take the `working-directory` into account to accomodate for something to run...
Going to reject this one, since it does not match what Knip currently offers, and we don't have the bandwidth/resources to implement RFCs like this.
Unfortunately from the error message alone I can't deduct the problem. Please create a minimal reproduction of the issue so I can look into it.

Very odd. In `--production` mode `vitest` is not imported (no test files included), and that's somehow what makes the difference in behavior. You can drop `import "vitest"` in `src/index.ts` and...

Thanks for raising this, I totally agree. Although these flags should not be featured as highlights, I think. Essentially they're hiding issues. Obviously in large projects issues can't be fixed...
