Bug: Translated subtitles not showing (only auto-generated English works)

Issue description

Only auto-generated English subtitles are shown. When selecting any translated subtitles (such as "Portuguese (auto-translated)"), no captions appear at all.

🔁 Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a video with auto-generated captions
2. Use the green button to open the YTAF menu (✅ confirmed working)
3. Go to “Subtitles” and select a non-English auto-translated option
4. Playback continues, but no subtitles are displayed

✅ Expected behavior

Translated captions should display as expected, just like in the official YouTube app or browser.

• Green button opens the menu successfully
• The subtitle menu lists translated options correctly
• The issue affects multiple videos
• Auto-generated English subtitles work fine

Can confirm this is an issue and it has also affected other similar apps, like SmartTube, you can look at their recent releases and just search for any mentioning "subtitle" https://github.com/yuliskov/SmartTube/releases
