Bug: Video titles appearing as squares / 2
YTAF information

TV information
- webOS version: 3.9
Issue description
Incorrect character encoding in video titles:
- The Air Force Releases Stunning Video of ๐-๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ in action - the "๐-๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ" text is replaced with โโโโโ characters.
- Un Caffรฉ โ๏ธ in FERRARI Testarossa | 2 miti Italiani - the โ๏ธ character is replaced with a โ character.
Similar issue to: #188, previously fixed with #239.
First video works for me:
Second video will be fixed in the next release.
See if the changes in the PR fixes the second video for you.
Thanks for the fix. Once there is a ipk in a release (or a Pre-release) I could test it.
It looks fine on the video selection screen, however it is broken when playing the video, I see this, note:
- the โ๏ธ is not after the Caffรจ word (where there is empty space), but after FERRARI word
- also, "in FERRARI" appears again after the โ๏ธ
This issue doesn't occur for me with webOS 6.3. You'll need to use the remote inspector to show me what CSS rules are being applied. Scroll through #235 to see how to do so.
Sorry, I cannot test. @cremor : maybe can you also test this as you did on #235? It looks like you still have a 2019 TV, newer than mine, but still older than fire332 one.
