Please Make Sure Key Server Is Turned On
I keep getting this message whenever I try and connect. I'm on the same network, and the passphrase and IP are correct. What is SSH Username? Should it always be 'prisoner'?
This is on v1.4.0. When I try and download 1.5.1 it says there is a virus. Trojan:Win32/Spursint.F!cl.
It seems I turned on the Key Server, but it didn't have any effect. I had to reboot the tv, restart the developer mode app and then turn the key server on again for it to work. Yikes.

Yes. For unrooted TVs it should always be prisoner. And for the key server check, it will make request to needed address. Sometimes it will have such issue like you mentioned.

I'll check if there are anything wrong in packaging step. Maybe that's because the app is not signed and causes false alarm.
I tried all steps
Rooted my TV
Installed Dev tools
rebooted my tv then turned key server on
Entered keyphrase ( key sensetive) in Dev manager app

@Reo0o What is the IP displayed on your TV, and how do you connect it to the network?
it's local IP address (192.168.1.120) I connect it using wifi
Hey did you find a solution because I am running into the same problem
i have this same issue still, just came back to it to see if there was any updates but seems not.
update: i unrooted my tv (factory reset) and turned on dev mode through making a dev account on the lg website and everything works fine again.
How did you make the dev account? I tried to make it but couldn't as this feature discontinue many years ago as!!
