"Why not git_remote_branch?" Is there an alternative to git_remote_branch you would suggest?

Not that I know of, no. grb still works well for me, I never looked for an alternative.

Ok! works good for me too! I'll keep on using it then. Stuff like git-flow seems too heavy for me.
