Forms for requesting a new interestgroup & requesting funding
Ref. request via email.
The request is for two features:
- There should be a page with a form where users can request interest for creating a new interestgroup. This form should generate an email that is sent to the people responsible for this.
- There should be a page with a form to request funding for an interestgroup.
Funding request This page should be accessible from an interestgroup page. The page should have fields as specified in the email:
- Name of applicant
- email of applicant
- interestgroup
- What the funding request applies to
- Number of people attending
- Total sum of requested amount
- Text field for application
- Budget (Could be a text field if hard to implement)
Note that many of these fields can be autofilled/omitted by context of what interestgroup the application applies to.
As briefly discussed, an idea is to have a button on the detail page of the interestgroup visible to all members that leads to this page. Upon submitting, the backend should send an email to the correct address (possibly notification?), with a copy (receipt) to the applicant.
An idea to extend this might be for the users responsible to have an overview of all applications, and the interestgroup leader to have an overview of applications for their own group?
New group request This page should be accessible from the interestgroup list page. Fields are as follows:
- Name of applicant/leader
- Contact information (email, name)
- Name of interestgroup
- Description of interestgroup
