[REQUESTED CONTENT] Build a blog with Scully, the Angular Static Site Generator, and Webiny

Open endymion1818 opened this issue 3 years ago • 4 comments

Introduction

Scully is the best static site generator for Angular projects looking to embrace the Jamstack. It renders static content (HTML, CSS and JavaScript), from Angular templates, so you can host your website on Netlify, Vercel or any other infrastructure you want. Combining that with a backend using Webiny Headless CMS is a great way of providing a nice UI to author, and a database to store your content.

Goals

In this article we will build a small blog with a home page and individual articles in Scully, and fetch data from a Webiny Headless CMS.

Outline

What is a Headless CMS? Why use Webiny CMS? Setting up Webiny CMS -- Content Structure Creating, Updating, and Deleting Articles Building a Blog -- Installing dependencies -- Connecting the CMS to the application -- Creating a List Articles Page -- Creating a Single Article page Conclusion Resources
