Object nested file-input does not show required error

What steps will reproduce the bug?

  1. Create a content model plugin
  2. Add a field with type object
  3. Add a file type field inside the previous one
  4. Make that file field required using validation rules
  5. Create a new entry in the UI
  6. Save the entry without uploading a file
  7. No error shows up and the entry does not save

What is the expected behavior?

The error to show that the file is required

What do you see instead?

The UI does not save the entry but also doesn't show the error

This issue is stale because it was opened 120 days with no activity. Remove the "stale-issue" label or leave a comment to revive the issue. Otherwise, it will be closed in 7 days.
