FileManager crashes on files with no extension

What steps will reproduce the bug?

Use the filemanager api to upload a file with no extension. Open the filemanager tab in the admin UI

What is the expected behavior?

The filemanager should show all files

What do you see instead?

Nothing.

Additional information

There is an error in the console about a missing plugin to handle the file type.
