VeSync Air Purifier fan speed levels

Open Iceman248 opened this issue 3 months ago • 4 comments

I was asked to create this issue here awhile back, finally getting around to doing so. My Levoit 200S air purifier fan speed options changed since I had set this up.

Integration name VeSync

Link to integration documentation on our website https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/vesync/

Describe the enhancement I noticed in the VeSync app that you can now set fan speeds at 10% intervals, rather than just the 4 speeds, which in HA is 25/50/75/100%. Perhaps the integration can be adjusted to support this new functionality?

Use cases More granular control over fan speeds.

Thank you for opening an issue. There are a few bugs I need to work through first, so this will take some time to implement.

Interesting... I have a "preset mode" of "sleep" (definitely lower case!), then I can set the fan speed to what appears to be anywhere from 0 - 100%. I chose 33%, 66% and 100% and my 200s reported speed I, II and III respectively.

Does the 25/50/75/100 also correspond to sleep/I/II/III?

It would be nice if there were preset modes available for sleep/low/med/high to make it more obvious & easier to wire up in a HomeAssistant automation.

Hmm interesting you can set fan to any speed. Could I get a screenshot of the fan control in HA? Or are you just passing a set speed with a percentage? Normally its presets or manual speeds not both in the HA interface today.

Image I can set presets of Auto, Sleep, Pet, then fan speeds of 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%.
