Slack not sending invites

If you're not hosting a slack channel anymore please remove this assertion from your gitlab and website, I've wasted quite a bit of time trying to get through a process that should be trivial. The email invitation/validation process is not working at all, I am getting no emails from slack or from you when I try to join.
