Supported browser versions?

Hello,

I see these statements in the readme:

The polyfills are intended to work in the latest versions of evergreen browsers

and

We cannot guarantee support for browsers outside of our compatibility matrix.

But these seem ambiguous and I can't figure out whether a given browser version is supported or not.

What is the definition of an "evergreen browser"? If it means "browser that updates automatically", this doesn't refer to an actual version then. Is the support window a rolling version range like "last 2 versions" like you see in browserslist?

Same question about the compatibility matrix. The table has a note: "current version of the browser". This is relative, and changes over time, so how can I interpret this in regards to real browser version numbers?
