Firefox Focus issues are not labeled correctly

Open denschub opened this issue 4 years ago • 5 comments

The Firefox Focus team added the webcompat-reporter and unfortunately did not tell us. The browser-focus label won't be applied because of this, so let's add it.

Change of plan: Let's not create a browser-focus label. Instead, have the Focus reporter use the browser-focus-geckoview label.

The reason here is that browser-focus doesn't exist yet, and we have a lot of issues with browser-focus-geckoview. I'll file a PR with the Focus team instead...

Filed a PR for Focus: https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/focus-android/pull/5909

And just now, I have re-labeled all the Focus issues that previously had browser-firefox-focus to now use browser-focus-geckoview as well - this makes it a lot easier to have aggregate statistics.

Aaaaand it's fixed already. This was fast.

Should be included in the next Focus release, and until then, we just have to continue manually labeling the issues.

Mh, this is still an issue. I tested with the Focus/Klar 95.1.0 release, and there still is no label: https://github.com/webcompat/web-bugs/issues/96005

I'll have to re-check this.
