teams.microsoft.com - notification sound does not play when window has no focus

Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to: (site url)
2. wait for any message, call or other notification. sounds play correctly when window has focus while nothing is heard when it has not. The problem does seem to be present in chrome where audio is played in both cases.

Expected Behavior: hear notification in any case

an additional note: this working in chrome and not in firefox looks like the problem is browser specific, but web.whatsapp.com can play sound when not focused

Thank you for reporting this issue, I wasn't able to reproduce it yet. I've tried to test the issue but unfortunatelly i can't even connect to teams as expected using the link provided:

I also try to connect searching on google for Teams but also not succesfully:

Notes:

1. Chrome asking me to upgrade Teams when I try to reproduce. It seems the test account is not working and we need a subscription
