@softvision-raul-bucata @sv-calin Leave the website open in the application, let it be left right on the speed test and exit the application and re-enter the application again, but let it open directly on the last tab, being this site and after pressing directly on the Speed Test.

I'm unable to reproduce this issue, I've tested with multiple setups: VPN, No VPN, both Beta and Nightly, Light/Dark theme, there was no difference.

@sv-calin With these steps I can reproduce this error error again and again. The app is updated, from the play store, the profile is new. And in addition I also tested with Firefox Preview, same result.

@claudiu64 Any altered configs or settings in place?

[inv_13/2024]

softvision-raul-bucata avatar Mar 25 '24 14:03 softvision-raul-bucata

@softvision-raul-bucata I did not configure any other settings, such as the Internet or others, nor did I change anything in the application, nor did I change any settings in the phone settings, which would affect the geofica. This problem is mostly seen on the Samsung Galaxy A20E phone model, a 2019 phone model, maybe these phones don't support Firefox graphics on some sites.

claudiu64 avatar Mar 26 '24 10:03 claudiu64

Since this is device dependent, and we do not have such a device available for testing, and the page is not a top site page, we will close this issue as wontfix.

softvision-raul-bucata avatar Mar 28 '24 13:03 softvision-raul-bucata

@softvision-raul-bucata I don't think this problem depends only on the phone, I think it depends on the app too, because on other sites also with test for internet speed measurement, it displays correctly and has graphics in the same way as this site. And in addition on other browsers it works correctly. I think it would go under investigation as it may be affecting the phone's processor etc, I don't know...

claudiu64 avatar Mar 28 '24 13:03 claudiu64

@ksy36 @softvision-raul-bucata @sv-calin Can you reopen the bug please as this issue happens a lot. On Firefox Nightly it happens every time I access the site, on the Beta and Relanse version these flashes happen less often.

claudiu64 avatar Apr 08 '24 09:04 claudiu64

Can this error be checked one more time? It seems to affect certain phone models, processor, etc. The bug also made it to Firefox Beta 126. Something is happening with the rendering of this plugin.

claudiu64 avatar Apr 20 '24 09:04 claudiu64

@claudiu64 We have tried on multiple devices, we can not reproduce. Like stated above, most likely it is device dependent.
