Thanks for the report, we've received last week a similar report and I tried testing this issue but the URL can be accessed only on a certain local network and we are unable to test it on our own. For more info check: https://github.com/webcompat/web-bugs/issues/134348

Suggestions: • Clear cache/data/cookies, disable Ad-blocker (if available), or create a new profile (without syncing/importing data) and check again • If there are any changes made to the default settings of the browser (e.g. in about:config), please revert to the default settings

How to create a new profile:

  1. Open a new tab
  2. Type in the address bar "about:profiles"
  3. Press "Enter"
  4. Click on "Create a New Profile"
  5. Click "Next"
  6. Name your profile
  7. Click "Finish"
  8. Head to your newly created profile
  9. Click "Launch profile in new browser"

Note: You can return to your old profile at any given time by accessing "about:profiles" in the address bar

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, it's a local resource so it would be hard for you to look into it. I looked at #134348 and it does appear that at least at other websites the application is able to load the DICOM files so it must be something in particular with the SmartPACs webapp and Firefox (nightly) not working well together. I'm not at work now (so can't access the local resource) but I can try loading a new profile and see if that changes anything.

That would be great, please give us an update when you do.

Yeah, no luck. Created a new profile and the images are still stuck on loading. It is probably unrelated but there is a temporal association, the boxes for the login information changed to green around the same time. The boxes were previously white and are still white when viewed through Chrome and Edge. But, login still functions normally...

Edge Nightly

Also, on non-Nightly versions of Firefox, the login boxes remain white and the DICOM images load normally.

I have tried running Nightly with add-ons disabled and the problem remains. I have not done a refresh.

Have you synced your data by any chance into the new profile? because based on the screenshot it looks like you are connected to an account and have add-ons installed. If so please try without syncing.

Try also disabling the Enhanced Tracking Protection when you are trying to view the images.

Hi There, Thanks for your continued help. I did a new new test profile today. Disabled enhanced protection (put on standard). Still no love. Then launched the new profile in troubleshoot mode and still cannot load the images. New Profile Test

I will say, with the new profile, the login boxes are now white instead of green for what it's worth.

Thanks again...

Thanks for checking, are there any errors in the console when the issue occurs? (CTRL+SHIFT+K to access the console)

If so please take a screenshot and post it here.

Yup. Some errors: image

I looked at the errors generated on the non-nightly version of Firefox and there are only four (the same as four of the ones I posted for Nightly).

The two extra errors in Nighly are the "non-standard property zoom" error and the Lucinda Sans font error.

Thanks for the screenshots, these are more like warnings, I would be curious how the console presents on a browser you are not reproducing the issue, like Chrome.

Moving this to diagnosis based on the above.
