www.sncf-connect.com - Error received when trying to book a train

Open webcompat-bot opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

URL: https://www.sncf-connect.com/

Browser / Version: Firefox 105.0 Operating System: Windows 10 Tested Another Browser: Yes Edge

Problem type: Site is not usable Description: Buttons or links not working Steps to Reproduce: This site "SNCF CONNECT" allows you to book travel on the French train network (SNCF). Once you have specified your destination and your travel date, you can choose a train. Once this is done you confirm, the first screen returns but the dialogue stops. Other anomaly: Once the trip is described you click on "see prices", the message "internal error" immediatly appears. This works coorrectly with EDGE. There is a site in France "https://www.totalbug.com ' sncf-connect" which lists the complaints for months of users who can not make reservations.

Thank you.

Thanks for the report, I was able to reproduce the issue. I got the error when trying to choose the arrival/departure location if previously a location was selected. image

After a few attempts, it went through but got the error again when clicking the "Voir les prix" button.

Console: image

Note:

  1. The issue is not reproducible on Chrome.
  2. The issue is reproducible on Firefox regardless of the ETP status.
  3. The issue is reproducible random. I did manage once to reach the checkout. image

Is this still reproducing for you, @softvision-raul-bucata ? I can't seem to get it to break, but maybe there are new steps to reproduce it.
