Protected world unvailable after restart
Paper 1.15.1 (build 62) dynmap (3.0-beta-10-257)
I have multiple worlds, one of which is "protected" (only visible to registered & logged in web-ui users with the dynmap.world.[world]
permission). After setting up, everything works just fine and the map(s) for [world] are visible to the permitted users, but after every restart, the map(s) for [world] no longer show up in the sidebar, even though [world] is still shown as "enabled" in the configuration file, and users have the proper permissions. Running /dynmap pause all
, /dmap worldset [world] enabled:false
, /dmap worldset [world] enabled:true
, /dynmap pause none
, and /dynmap reload
corrects the issue and shows the map to the correct users once again, but must be completed after every server restart.

does this still happen on the latest dynmap version?
I have the same situation and same problems on the latest dynmap version.
Heya @cosmos223 - still running this? We've just had a major release, tho I don't think this is touched in it. It might help tho.
Can you confirm that the workaround does help successfully work? "Running /dynmap pause all, /dmap worldset [world] enabled:false, /dmap worldset [world] enabled:true, /dynmap pause none, and /dynmap reload corrects the issue"
If all the above is true, I think there is an option in the config file for "debug mode" - right at the bottom that generates more logs - enable, login with a protected user, confirm, disable setting. It might give the devs a key insight.
Protected worlds are unavailable when a user is not online, at least in 3.4-beta-5 with paper 1.19.2
