forge-1.9.4-12.17.0.1965-universal and Dynmap-2.3-forge-1.9.4 Players not showing clean install

On the map key it shows players as being 1 on the map but people are not actually visible on the map or in the key. its like it cant process the user.. Screenshot shows the best I can what it does.

I also got the same in forge for 1.10.2, it would seem that the events for player joins and DC's aren't working currently. You can get the list of players to load if you were to reload the plugin, but you would have to do that every time someone entered/left the server.

Also the event triggers to render tiles from chunk gen aren't working either.
