revert changes made in https://github.com/web3/web3.js/pull/5963/ that was created with forked version of eth js libs, and use :

  • [ ] @ethereumjs/tx v5
  • [ ] @ethereumjs/common v4

check:

  • [ ] impact on web3 size and
  • [ ] also check web3.js browser support .
