Why required VIBRATE permission ?

I have removed VIBRATE permission from AndroidManaifest and things working fine.

So can anybody share details of why it is declared and where it is used?

Just wants to confirm is there any case that I am missing to check.

Note: I have test with both vibrate mode on/off on key or button touch from Android settings.
