Multiple windows pop up

Open 1tszyau opened this issue 4 years ago • 3 comments

Hi, I am currently using a Macbook Air (macOS 11.2.1), default terminal with zsh and ST3 (Build 3211).

Steps to reproduce: (Multiple terminal windows popup at once) After installing terminal, press command + shift + t. Two terminal windows pop up together, one in my home directory, another one in the project directory. image

It does not work as expected.

Update: No matter you use command + shift + t, command + option + shift + t, or using "Terminal: Open" in Command Palette gives the same result.

Same for me.... I am using MacBook Pro, iTerm2 with zsh. I was getting 2 windows, one with project directory and the other with home directory(~/). I never faced this issue on my linux machine.

Issue resolved in iTerm2 by changing the preferences Screenshot 2021-05-15 at 12 44 37 AM Change the 'window restoration policy' to 'only restore hotkey window'. But when launching the terminal outside the sublime, only the menubar is shown as shown below.

Screenshot 2021-05-15 at 12 55 18 AM Dont worry we can get terminal by clicking the terminal icon in the dock or simply by pressing 'Command+T'
