Terminal window is not active when it opens (Windows)

On Windows 10, as soon as you press Ctrl + Shit + T or Ctrl + Alt + Shit + T, the terminal window opens. If you continue to type on the keyboard, you will still be typing in sublime instead of the terminal. Is there a way to make the terminal window active when it opens?

To make sure I fully understand the point, the following happens:

  • Press shortcut
  • Terminal opens
  • Wait for a second for it to finish launching
  • Type
  • Window focus is still on Sublime Text
