Publish current release checksum into a file

It would be helpful if alongside the current Package%20Control.sublime-package file there was a second file containing a checksum. For example Package Control.sublime-package.sha256

Basically whenever a new sublime-package artifact is put up on the website, in addition to bumping the sha256 hash in a commit also update a checksum file. MD5 or SHA1 would be fine too.
