A cloud team member explained that instructions to uninstall the Wazuh agent from macOS systems

could benefit from further clarification that commands need root user privileges.

While adding the sudo su command to the unsinstalling instructions would work, Wazuh documentation usually includes a note to point this need out as in the following image:
